Welcome Back to School!

Dear Jireh Swift Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you back to a new school year filled with opportunities for learning, growth, and connection! Our entire team is excited to partner with you to support every student as they learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

As we prepare for the first day of school, we would like to share a few important reminders to help ensure a smooth and successful start to the year.

School Start Time & Arrival Procedures
School begins promptly at 8:15 AM. Students should arrive at school beginning at 8:10 AM and go directly to their classrooms. Please note that there is no supervision available before 8:10 AM. Students arriving after 8:25 AM will be marked tardy.

For families using drop-off, staff members will be available at the Tarklin Hill Road entrance to assist with the drop-and-go process and help ensure students enter the building safely and efficiently. We ask that families follow staff directions and remain mindful of the flow of traffic to help make arrival smooth for all students. 

Consistent, on-time attendance is essential to student success. When students are present and ready to learn each day, they benefit from classroom routines, maximize instructional time, and build strong relationships with their teachers and classmates.

Classroom Assignments
Classroom assignments will be shared with families prior to the start of school. Teachers will be reaching out to families with student homeroom placements and any additional classroom information. On the first day of school, members of our staff will also be available to welcome families and help direct students to their assigned homerooms. We are excited to help everyone feel comfortable and ready for a successful first day!

Dismissal Times

• Preschool and Kindergarten: 2:20 PM at classroom doors

• Grades 1–5: 2:30 PM in the back lot

For the safety of all students, visitor vehicles are not permitted in the parking lot at any time. Students use the back lot for arrival, recess, and dismissal, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Get Involved!
Our wonderful PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is always looking for families who would like to get involved. Joining the PTO is a great way to stay connected, support school events, and strengthen the partnership between home and school. If you are interested in learning more, please reach out to our PTO President, Breanna Patenaude.

Important Dates to Remember
📅 Preschool and Kindergarten Orientation: Tuesday, September 1st,  from 10:00–11:00 AM in classrooms
📅 Open House: Wednesday, September 16th from 4:30–6:30 PM
